Mission, Vision, & Values

Our Vision

In Cedar Rapids
as it is
in Heaven

as it is

Our Mission

City-Wide
Transformation &
Reformation

Core Values:

We Value God's Presence
above all else.

One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord (Psalm 27:4)

We desire to be a people who long for God's Presence to be manifested in our lives, our families, our church, and our city.

We Value Family.

“Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse.” (Malachi 4:5-6)

We desire to strengthen families. We desire to see a multi-generational revival. We must be willing to look to those who are coming after us and realize we are building something for them. We must also teach those coming after us to look toward those who went before and honor them and their lives.

We Value
Un-domestication.

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)

Jesus is looking for people with fire in their eyes and love in their hearts and He wants to turn them loose on the world.

We Value
Transformation.

We desire to see personal transformation:

So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)

We believe that one encounter with Jesus is all that it takes for us to be changed. Jesus can meet us and break out cycles of dysfunction.

We desire to see transformation in our city:

And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Cedar Rapids will be blessed because we are here. We will see new businesses. We will see the restoration of things lost. We will see crops blessed. We will see drugs pushed out. We will see crime lowered. We will become a place that people move to.
